Message In A Bottle

As I mentioned in a previous post, I have many new and exciting things to do in 2009. One of which is a social media project set up by FEVE. Through Friendsofglass.com, the importance of glass recycling is brought to light. As I said before, I still don't quite know what the project is going to be like, or what I'm going to do exactly, but I did receive a literal message in a bottle in the mail the other day.
The message said that I am now a Glass Embassador and have thus officially joined the group of handpicked social media people (social media involvees?) and will soon be receiving my very first challenge. All these challenges are going to help getting across the message that glass recycling is an important issue and helps do good things for our environment. I wouldn't necessarily call myself an environmentalist, but recycling glass is one of the easiest things to do in order to help. Friendsofglass.com gives you five good reasons why you should. Even lazy people such as myself can easily do it. Plus, it can be damn trendy: my glass bottle is now a vase! It's that easy.
That's all for now. Go recycle!
