I know it's been a while since I posted my last In Loomis, but I've been rather busy and unable to scan my other sketches because I keep forgetting to bring my sketchpad with me. There are still plenty of sketches left to scan, but the other day I started drawing a digital drawing using the methods of Andrew Loomis and the picture above is the result. I also tried using a crosshatch technique, which is completely new for me. I like the overall result, even though there are plenty of things wrong with the drawing, like his eyes and his too feminine lips which also seem a little bit plastered onto his face (Loomis ushers a really good point on this and I still manage to mess up).
