Today I saw the movie that was based on the book. It was good, even if for me, it did not reach the emotional depth of the book. Carey Mulligan, Andrew Garfield and Keira Knightley portray the three main characters, Kathy, Tommy and Ruth. My favourite thing about their portrayal is the social awkwardness and the warped perspective of life. That, to me, is the best part, and very true to the book.
I can't say much more about the film without adding spoilers, so I'd say...
Go read the book before you see the movie.

I am reading your blog for the first time the reason is this post. Actually i like reading books very much and i have read one book of this author. One day when i was in library i found this book on shelf and thought of reading this but suddenly my mood changed and i took grimus by salman rushdie.
Now after reading this post i think i should have taken that book and i'll do that tomorrow.

This extraordinary and, in the end, rather frighteningly clever novel isn't about cloning, or being a clone, at all. I've always tried reading the book before watching the movie.
That seems to have only caused me dissapointment, though (most recent case in point: "Eat, Pray, Love").
Think this time I'll try doing the opposite...
